We had a great time just discussing and sharing our quilts and enjoys some yummy snack. We loved Amber's refreshing lime/Sprite drink with the yummy ice.
Amber shared an easy tip for sewing down the middle of a square without marking it. Jacque had 252 2 1/2 inch squares to mark. She was thrilled to learn that time saving idea.
Welcome to our newest Sassy Stitcher-Carrie. She's a new quilter and has hit the ground running. She already has her layer cake squares sewn together. Way to go Carrie!
Everyone be ready to share what you're working on for next month's meeting. Several of us asked for opinions and ideas from the group. Eight heads is definitely better than one in making some decisions!
