Lacey Hosts our January Guild Meeting

Barbara won the polka dot fat squares this month.

 Thanks to Lacey for the yummy treats, beautiful home, cute kids and a wonderful evening.  Welcome Traci Jensen as our newest guild member.  It's so fun to see our group grow!

The Sassy Stitcher's are having their first RETREAT!!!  Mark your calendars for  March 9-13 in St. George.   Fun! Fun! Fun!  We're all so excited!

Amber's Grandparents were our special guests.   They were so delightful.  Her Grandfather is a great support and obviously very proud of his wife's accomplishments.  We saw first hand why Amber's such a talented quilter.  Much thanks to the Baldridge's gathering, packing and loading the many quilts we enjoyed that evening.

Delma told us the story behind this quilt. Not one of the judges' favorites but one she loves and we were very impressed.

After seeing this, we can hardly wait to make a strip quilt. 

Amber shared with us that "Just Sew" is doing a strip quilt for their quilt of the month his year.  It starts the first of March, if you're interested in joining the group.
We still have fat quarters to bring for the next 3 months.  February is Valentine prints.  March - black and white prints, and April - pastel spring flowers.
