Barbara made this cute little bag to use for our various drawings.
Everyone made or already has made, a list of
"Ten Things You Want To Do This Year". Barbara pulled out the number "2" and we were all suppose to be working on that number on our lists to finish by our March meeting.
You know this is a show and tell and report kind of group. So be ready to share what you did. It spurs the rest of us on. If you don't get yours down, just add it to the bottom of your list and know it's okay. We're here to support each other.
Traci was winner of the Valentine' Fat Quarters.
Of course there were lots of showing and telling.
the pictures. Sorry!
Dawn showed off a beautiful scarf she knitted for
her daughter's birthday. She talked about a quilt
designer named Edyta Sitar who designs and makes gorgeous quilts. It got us thinking about her "Laundry Basket" quilts and gave us an idea to use after were finished with the fat quarters. By the way, don't forget we're looking forward to seeing the quilts made from the fat quarter stash you each won.
Vicki and Jacque showed a couple of quilts too and we had a great time just being together. We
always miss anyone who can't make it.
Amber displays her new quilt design. We were the first to see her finished product. We tried to come up with a name for it but were no help. She's calling it "Mod Meadow".
She showed us a cute zig zag quilt she made also.
It's a lot of fun to follow Amber's blog and see all the exciting things she's doing.
Traci displays her first quilt. Way to go Traci! She took a class from Amber at Just Sew.

Love the "10 things I want to do this year" idea! Thanks for the reminder about it. I think I'm only about a third of the way done with mine, so I need to get a move on!
