You could smell the roasted pepper cheese spread the minute you walked into Robin's home. I'd just finished having dinner and it re-whetted my appetite! She served it with slices of Italian bread. Then there was a big plate of vegetable and another of fruit each with their special dips. Note to self---don't eat dinner before coming to Quilt Guild! Amber shared her experience at Market with us. It sounded wonderful, hectic and like a great experience. She especially loved getting to meet other great quilters. See her pictures on her blog - alittlebitbiased.blogspot.com .

| Jacque got this stash of black and white Fat Quarters. |
This black and white Fat Quarter stash was the last one to be given out. That completes our give away. Everyone is suppose to have their Fat Quarter projects finished by June 2012 and we'll all present them at our annual Sit-n-Stitch Tea.
The first annual tea will be held in July Barbara and Vicki will come up with the details. Angie volunteered to bring the Brazilian Lemonade. Yum Yum!
We did some planning for the rest of the year. Our next Quilt Guild retreat will be in August. St. George is not exactly the ideal summer retreat but the accommodations are excellent and we're all excited.

| Jacque loved learning how to add a sawtooth border that fits the quilt. |

| 4th of July table runner designed by Jacque. |

| Great job Barbara. This turned out so pretty! |
The Guild members are in the process of creating quilts using the same block patterns. Barbara is the first to display a complete project.

| Angie's flannel quilt is still a work in progress. Appliqued flowers will top it off. |
 |
| Angie's darling pinwheel quilt. Love the colors! |
 |
| A quilt for Angie's son. It's so masculine & cozy. |
Check out our Summer Plans
Next month Amber will host our meeting. A quest speaker will tell us about using color. Then we'll receive little bags with two colored crayons. We are suppose to make an quilted item with the two colors. A third color may be added of your choice but only one. It's to help us think out of the box in our color perspectives.
In July Barbara and Vicki will host a Sit-n-Stitch Tea in Vicki's backyard (surprise Vicki!). We'll display the quilts we've made this year and enjoy a summer evening together. Angie's already with a Brazilian lemonade that's to die for.
In August we head off to St. George for our retreat. Thanks to Lacey's in-laws, we can stay out of the heat and enjoy their beautiful home and quilt until we drop.
Wow! What a summer!
